Osmosis

Does anyone know how temperature may affect osmosis in a plant cell?

Higher temperature = more osmosis because particles have more energy so move faster

Referring to the infamous boiled carrots question recently in AQA this year, if you boil carrots, the membranes are damaged and so osmosis won't happen.

So the higher the temperature the more osmosis but too high a temperature will damage the membrane causing osmosis not to occur?
