Hi, my S2 and S3 exams are coming up very soon for OCR and I’m still struggling pretty bad with them.
Are there any good resources out there to help me memorise all of the hypothesis tests etc as I just see the questions and have no idea what to do or which method would be best. Or any resources to help me revise in general? The text books have written formulas different to how my teacher taught it so it’s harder to understand them.
It’s extremely frustrating because maths is my strongest subject by far and I’m getting A*/A in every other topic but I just can’t answer stats questions without even checking the mark schemes.
Thanks

You learn how to do hypothesis tests by doing them, not memorising them.

Ultimately you need to keep practicing textbook questions. Look at examples first before looking at the answer. After you've looked at the answers, you're either learning things or not learning anything at all - if you're learning, then resist the temptation to look at answers unless the question is truly difficult and unusual. If you're not learning, restart.
