It was a great paper. Some questions were a little sly but nothing we haven’t learned

I got 6 weeks for that question.

Here is what I did:

Theo:James
18+4.5x : 4x, where x = number of weeks

We can assume week 0 = 18:0 as Theo and James start off with £18 and £0 respectively.
Week 1: 22.5:4
Week 2: 27:8
Week 3: 31.5:12
Week 4: 36:16
Week 5: 40.5:20
Week 6: 45:24, which divided by 3, simplifies to 15:8, therefore it took 6 weeks.

surely in the first week they have 0 and 18 but nevertheless even if i did get that wrong i should get 2/3 for working

Was that circle box ratio question 3:2?? & was Q1 a chord?

was q3 3:2

Other way round, it said y is 1.5 times more than x not x was 1.5 more than y.

I got (-0.5, 1.5)

Yes, you are actually correct. Luckily I also did root(4^2-(4*4*1))=0, hence there is only one intersection point.
I put a chord

Damn it I made a silly mistake with counting here, I think you're correct and it is indeed 6.

I think that's the only one I got right 😂

Anyone got 14 mins 8 secs for hemisphere rate q?

Yea
Original post by cashlinrosario
how'd you work out x?

I got 43/150 for the Venn diagram

i got 1.4

I got - 1.4 but checked answer by doing inverse question and substituting values to check.

I got it as (-0.5,1.5) ??

I couldn’t do that question. It confused me heavily

yeah

Yea

Did you have to say specific time. Because if you did then oops

7/12 people who do physics do chemistry too so 7/12 = 35
1/12 then equals 5 so 5/12= 25... x=25

Who got 50.6 for the perimeter of ths pentagon?
Yeah I got roughly that but it didn't specify to round up or not so I just put the full value in the calc

I did too. I’m guessing you used SOH CAH TOA to work it out?

Did anyone get the algebraic fraction as 2x - 2 and the simplification of the functions as x + 9?

It wasn’t 7/12 it was 5/12

Really? Are you saying it based on how you found it or the answers people got here?
