The exam was so tricky but not hard
for the last two questions I got x is 4 for the secant question and 0 for the sum of the thirty terms (nice cancelling there!)
found it tricky but was ok, messed up the hexagon question :angry:
What was question 22??
Ur talking about 4HR?
Cos I did 4H it was only 20 questions
For second last one I got 55/16 bc 7+4 times 5 is 55 and that equals 16 times x

For the externally intersecting chords, I think you have to multiply the entire length of the line by the small bit, so (7 4 5)*5=x(x 16) and you find x=4. I messed up my brackets and got x as 8 but hey ho.

what was the answer to the hexagon question...the working out i did looked a bit too easy for 5 marks??

wowwowowo they clearly stated OBTUSE ANGLE........so 360-250 = 110.....dw you will get few marks for method

I got that as well but it may be there exterior angle as that took more working and is obtuse.
The 250 is over 180 so isn’t it was badly worded but it may be 110

subtract the both equations so you get y= -2x+3 and then draw it and it will cross the curve at three points.
The x coordinates of intersection will be the solution

First time edexcel is wrong...the last question wasn't solvable.....as far as i know

What do you guys think the grade boundaries will be for a 9?
