GCSE 9-1 Science AQA: My predictions for Chemistry Paper 2

Hi everyone! May I just add, my predictions are just a WILD guess on what has not appeared on the specimen papers from AQA and from researching the specification, I want to remind you all to cover the full content (use revision guides for tips on this) just to ensure you do not get any nasty surprises on the exam.

Potable water - how it is made, drawbacks etc 6 marker
Phytomining & Bioleaching
Life Cycle Assessments
Global warming
Atom economy
Greenhouse gases
Cracking
Alkane formula calculations
Earth-early atmosphere (pie chart question)
Label a fractional column - everything released. Remember Lazy Penguins Keep Drinking Hot Beverages.
Gas tests
Describing graphs with a catalyst.

Single Separate Triple Science:

Polymers
Chromatography 6 marker
Rates of reaction practical
Tests for anions & cations
Formulation
Atmospheric pollutant
Equilibrium (factors)
Carboxylic Acids
Fertilisers
Reverse osmosis
The Haber process

The uses of Crude Oil and their fractions i.e

Liquefied Petroleum Gas
Petrol
Kerosene
Diesel
Heavy fuel oil
Bitumen

how do you do alkane formula calculations?
what is the process for the two typed of cracking?

There’s steam cracking and catalytic cracking; in steam cracking, you mix the hydrocarbon with steam and heat it to a very high temperature, and with catalytic you just pass it over a hot catalyst. This causes a thermal decomposition reaction.
