Hey guys, I thought I'd make this niiiiiice and early so we can all share how we're preparing for our Maths exams this year?

Date: Tuesday 19th June 2018
Time: Afternoon
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Days to go?: It’s done!! :woohoo:

Probably the most important way to prepare for maths is to do plenty of past papers! You can find the more recent papers here and the older ones here.

Also, Physics & Maths Tutor has some good resources for revision - everything from revision notes to questions on specific topics. You can find the Statistics 2 materials here.

What did everyone get for a and b? I got a as 6.5 and b as 9.5 but then the limits in the next part of the question were out of range so I wasn’t sure ://

What was the value of c for the upper limit of the interval in question 1
I got c=22 for q1 by working out area

Yeah so instead of between 5 and 9 it's between 6.5 and 9 which gives 5/6.
Thoughts about the overall paper?
Seemed a good paper to me.

Not that great for me haha! I think I made many many calculation errors. It seems I even got the first question wrong:s-smilie:

I got 20, 19 and 15 on the first question (for parts a b and c)
I find the language for s2 pretty hard since english isnt my 1st language

Think I got 14.02 or something similar for chi squared.. might be wrong though as I did a load of questions this morning and might be mixing them up 😂

Oh god I got the 20 and 15, but I got 3/5 somehow.. Thinking about it, it looks kinda wrong whoops

I think I got 14.2, but maybe I just saved it wrong
