Ah, you beat me to the thread g haha.

Yeah, it was the standard M1. Couple hard questions, mostly easy questions. It's usually 55/56 for an A

deffo didn't get Q6c right lol. Did you get Sina = 0.25?

Yh 0.25 do u remember the answer to the particles bouncing of the wall then they collide after 5 seconds what time do a and b collide

Yeah i got 1/4 for sinA.

The i got the angle of found the coefficient of Friction, which i got 0.77 i think

I had 7 seconds - don't know if I am right though

Same - I was relieved when my Sina was a normal number lol

Yeah me too. I think that q qas 9 marks.

How did you fiond the rest of the paer, there iwas 1 or 2 q's that were weird but overall it was alright. I say it will be 56/7 for an A

Yeah I agree - raindrops ****ing hell

Did you get acceleration for the 7 marker as a=2.45?

did you also get recurring values for the moments question?
(edited 5 years ago)
Yeh for a i got 2.45 and tension was 37. something

I think for the moments i got 35.45454545 or something and then a larger number for the other one, i think maybe 452.somehting

I got 5.92s, 2.5 + 2.1 = 4.6, 4.6/5. Dunno if that is correct though, I just assumed I could use relative velocity.
For the raindrops, did anyone get 3.9m?

That was the hardest question on the paper lol -

I think I had 55.454545454545 and 452 something - maybe one of us is just misplacing the numbers

I just said constant time difference of 1/7 s and subtracted the distance travelled by A when time was 19/7 from when time was 20/7 (20/7 seconds being the total time of travel).

Also, I believe it was 55.4545 and (60g -55.45454) 532.54545454.
(edited 5 years ago)
Yeah I got that.

R1+R2 = 60g
Then I done moments about R1 (P)

What did you get for the collisions question

I think I gothink 0.5 for e

Right - That's what I had!

Did you get 10.8N for resultant force and 24. something degrees for the angle?

For the angle i got something like 115 degrees (second quadrant), I just added 180 to the minus value I got. And I also got 10.8N

But you get 10.8 as the resultant force right?

Yep
anyone get 4 and 4.75 for Q9?
Original post by Welshstig
Yep

Meh - I'd rather lose 2 marks than lose 6 for not getting the resolving right lol

did you get x =4 and y = 4.75 for lamina?
