How many marks will I lose for forgetting to include the distance for the frictional energy in the question about the child..
1-2?
I got the rest of the paper correct I believe. What did people get for the time for the speed to increase from 18 to 22

I think I got 13.0s, not sure how many marks you’d lose - how many was it out of?
Decent paper overall, last question was almost identical to the last one on the jan 13 paper

3 if I recall correctly.
That’s odd I got a much larger value for t :frown:

Yes that’s exactly what I thought of the last question.
What did you guys get for the value for x at maximum v
got u = root (ag)
Oh my god I completely messed it up. I hadn’t done the paper on which the last question was similar so I just didn’t have a clue I also blanked on question 6 as well. Need an Unofficial Mark scheme rn :frown:((,

I got u=4root(ag)
3(root3)L/8 = r for last q??
What mass did people get on q 1?

I got (root3)L/4=r
Some of my answers I can remember:

= 52cm
ȳ = 40.5cm
m = 2.67kg
μ (min) = 0.184
t = 30ln(11.4/(3g-v)) -> when v = 22ms^-1, t = 13.0s
u = 4sqrt(ag)
u : v = 2 : sqrt(5)
v = sqrt[(40-2μg)x - 20x^2)]
r = sqrt(3)/4 * L
