Summer revision ??

So I'm currently in year 10 and in a few weeks we are going to break up for summer. What do you suggest I do with my summer as I dance a lot and I won't have a lot of time to revise throughout the year. I don't know what to do does anyone have any suggestions

I just finished year 11 and honestly just enjoy the summer. I didn’t revise at all for my GCSE’s only the night before lol but I suggest preparing a bit towards the end and start when begin year 11. It’s a crap year but good luck.

If you really will have less than 1 hour a day to revise because of dancing, then study ahead after having a summer break. This is easier for subjects like maths, the sciences, history, religous studies.. a bit trickier for languages, English...

Whereas with the sciences and other essay based subjects that you've got a textbook, you process and understand everything in it and you're okay.
But that's my perspective as someone who was taught for their GCSEs, including English, but self studied sciences later on. And I think that English is one of the toughest GCSEs to do really well in.

What GCSE exam boards are you doing? If you are doing AQA 9-1...then re-read all your books and your poems in the summer and try to memories them. Advice coming from a student who got triple 9s in maths, English lit and lang (only 2000 people in the UK got that).

. I did exactly inspector calls, jekyll and hyde and macbeth on AQA. Tips for english lit? Look at other people's essays on the internet-not talking about bbc bitesize. Also try and find other school's revision quide pdf documents Here are some useful links for Macbeth...not sure if they work tbh

I would have the first week of summer off and then maybe do 30 minutes - 1 hour of revision every day. I'd have the last week off though.
