Hi Joel, thank you for posting today. It's great that you're studying such a creative subject, did you study Art or Graphics in high school/college/sixth form and if so did you like it? I understand you feel that you may underperform or not do as well as you hope in your 2nd year of uni, but remember it's ok to feel this way as many of us do. You're not alone. What isn't OK is over-worrying and causing unnecessary stress which causes you to feel constantly anxious, depressed etc. Try to think positive and remember that even if things go wrong, it is not the end and you can get through this! I don't want to grow old either, it's funny how when we were all kids we rushed to grow up and now when we're adults we wish we were kids again. And about the worry of seeing your family members pass away, it can be hard to cope with loss but I think the best thing is to make the most of the time you have left with them. Cherish each moment. Tell them you love them. Go out with them more, whether if it's to the cinema, shopping, meal out or even just a walk. If you argue with them, get angry, remember that life is too short to hold grudges, especially against the people you care most about. I hope you feel better soon. If you want to talk, PM me

It’s okay. The text line is something I have used before. It isn’t well known but it is helpful especially if you’re like me and you don’t always feel like talking on the phone because people.

Gender: female
Level of education (GCSEs, AS levels)
Courses studying/taken: waiting for AS English, maths, bio and chem results.
What I'm hoping to study at A level/BTEC/uni: not sure either politics or psychology
Current mood: low. I’m not sure why.
Reason(s) why I feel like this: I haven’t done anything today. Isolated. Mum pushing me to do medicine and I have been trying to say no for a year. She is not listening. Mum has an arranged marriage after uni planned for me. I don’t want plus I want to experiment with my sexuality.
Good things that happened today: my friends texted me.
Bad things that happened today: I slept a lot. All of the reasons for feeling bad came up today and I’m waiting to return recieve counselling but the wait is long and it’s only short term.
What I am looking forward to: going back to school to see my friends and have a routine. Meeting up with my friends on Monday.
What I am not looking forward to: going back to school. I’m worried about the stress and my mental health.
End of day mood: still low.
