The Student Room Group

I'm a graduate and a sex worker AMA

Here to field questions and dispel myths. I don't mind being asked personal questions but if you're intentionally mean I'll report you

Edit: I'm not here to debate feminism because if you don't get why we need it in 2018 your frankly a lost cause to me. I'll be ignoring the trolls xx

:holmes:

What inspired/prompted you to get into the profession? And is security good enough around your parts? Or do you still have to deal with a few creeps?

The site I use takes VAT from my earnings before I withdraw them however if i was to do this more full time you can upload your tax documents to the site and have this removed so you can fix your own tax

Which part of the UK do you work in (like county if you're uncomfortable saying which city or whatever)

If you think my thread is best places elsewhere please suggest! I don't use this site often x
Do you think it's unfair that fat ugly women can charge £100+ an hour for sex, whereas above average looking men can't charge anything for sex?

I use a website where I can cam, arrange escort meets, phone and text chat. Clients make a profile and buy credits for services the website provides like camming. I get a percentage of the credits they spend or 100% of the money face to face.

My rates are a bit higher than average in my area, 15 mins - 50, ½ Hour 80, 1 Hour 150 all the way up to an overnight stay for 700 quid but I've had no actual takers of the latter yet.
why do you do it? x

I was skint as a student and knew a couple of people doing it to make extra money so I gave it a go. I have a high sex drive and it's hugely flexible so it suits me very well.

The website I use lets sex workers leave positive pr negative reviews of clients so I only meet people who have a few positive reviews and always let a friend or my boyfriend know a persons details and when I'll be leaving before I meet

You can usually spot the creeps a mile away they're not subtle :P

I think the market is oversaturated with more attractive women for "fat ugly women" to charge that amount. There are male prostitutes/sugar babies.

Men have every other perk in this patriarchal society so i dont see why women can't have the upper hand just this once

£££!!!!

But seriously you choose your own hours, you can work at home for as long or short as you like, you can choose your customers and how much you get paid and what you will and won't do.

Me and my boyfriend have an open relationship anyway which makes the whole emotional thing easier.
He has said so long as I feel good and enjoy doing it and are as safe as possible he's fine  he knows I'd stop if he wanted me to and that he can ask me to at any point

I can confirm that I have to pay the same amount for earings as non sex workers but if I did all my paperwork and was less lazy I could potentially try pass them off as a business expense :P
