A level subjects

Are graphic communication and government and politics considered as good subjects by most universities?

Those subjects right there will lead to a worthless degree. Here are the only degrees worth going to University for in today day and age.

1) Medicine

2) Nursing

3) Engineering (In particular Software Engineering. Environmental Engineering is a worthless branch of engineering).

4) Computer Science

5) Accounting/Actuarial sciences.

So, its basically STEM, however, these listed are the specifics.

Economics at LSE wouldn't be useless. Neither would maths/law. There are many other relevant degrees

Yes it would. Maths on its own is not good, rather the maths needs to be applied in some way for example engineering or accounting, that way you have a skill that an employer believes is worth paying you for. It's no good having maths floating around in your head if you can't apply it to produce something of value for society.

Law is over saturated and only worth doing if you get into the top 10 Universities for law or if your surname is Rockefeller, if not then forget it.

The same can be said for economics, either you have to come from a rich family, or you have connections already in the industry. If not then forget it.
