A level history coursework please help me please

I can't find interpretations on my topic, the USA women's suffrage and I don't know what to do. My teacher is useless and won't help me in the slightest. Please help or offer advice.

Start off by researching and understanding the key events and issues in womens suffrage. Wahat reserach have you done.

Interpretations then come by reading different accounts and viewpoints on any given issue or event. they will have differing opinions on whether something was successful or what caused something. the view might be negative or positive. It might say the causes were XYZ or ABC.

You are only going to find such interpretations by doing research and reading.

Ways you can find a difference is by picking your historians.

Different:
Gender, social class, politics, time periods, nationality, ethnicity.
What were the events and how did views differ on success failure and importance?

First understand the timeline and key events then you can get to grips as to how it all fits together.

Thats is how I would do the research. the research is one of the most important aspects and not everything is in a nice easy book that gives you all the answers. that is why the teacher expects you to show some initiative and investigate.

999tigger's post look v useful. check it out.

you might have to change topic if you struggle to find content. in case you do need to do this, it might be easier to find a topic taught as an a level module that you are not studying because then there will probably be a text book on the period with the key questions/sources/relevant additional reading i.e. it will give you all the major interpretations etc.
