is gcse textiles harder than art?

What is harder, getting a 9 in GCSE art or an A* in GCSE textiles?
(art is in new system and textiles is in old system)

This is based on the 2018 GCSEs.

Whichever one you enjoy most will be easier

IMO it was Art that was harder despite the fact that I was really good at it and enjoyed it. Textiles may seem hard but if you’re consistent with your coursework and final product then you’ve pretty much bagged the A (even an A*). The exam part of it is super easy as well.
Art was harder for me. I picked Textiles for my GCSE, primarily as it has a lot more writing in it and I'm strong in that department.

My coursework was on target for an A* HOWEVER, as the others in the class were failing, they decided to change the GCSE to Art and Design whilst I was in year 11.

I struggled because Art was 100% not my strong point and I ended up getting a F in art.

I went from A* in textiles to an F in Art, but that was only my experience with it. Not everyone went through the same issue as me.
