Friday 2pm-3pm Seminar - History (Right-wing movements in Interwar-Europe 1918-1938)
Old Timetable for Reference
Still waiting on my other History Seminar to appear though.
I also woke up this morning to 308 Blackboard notifications.
For those who don't know, Blackboard is an organisational computing software that Keele, and many other universities use to manage assignments, reading and studying online. Other universities use moodle, and those two platforms are the most common tools used by universities.
Most of those notifications were because a load of previous materials have been uploaded to the system, for me to get my hands on.
I've looked and only one module has a handbook uploaded at the moment, I've looked and there are some possible essay questions I may be doing depending on what seminar I end up in, though it's 2/3 chance I won't be in that particular seminar so may have different essay questions.
But it's a start. And I do have one deadline in the diary so at least that's something.
It was mostly so I could go and visit special people and spend the weekend with them.
At present I still get 2 days off, but it's likely that my final seminar will fall into one of these spaces.
For years (this is true) our department had a rule against working on Fridays, and if it had to be done, it was to be done before midday. It was great, ha. But then the bigwigs in school admin scuppered that and gave us all seminars at 5pm on Friday evenings, the gets.
I've just been stitched up with a 9am start on Wednesdays (which means I'll have to leave the house at 7am, generally) because a salaried full-time memebr of staff couldn't be bothered getting out of bed for it... So all that faff for 50 minutes of teaching.

Oh damn! And a Wednesday too, when there's no teaching in the afternoon.
Unlucky. At least you get paid, I'm the one paying.
