Extra-curricular activities on personal statement?

I am currently in the process of writing my personal statement and realised that I don't have any extra-curricular activities relating to my chosen subject(geography) because I only decided on that subject recently. What can I write about and is there any geography extra-curricular activities that I could do quickly? Help! please

I'm not applying for Oxbridge and the deadline is sometime in November for the UCAS application
Maybe help out in a geography class for younger pupils in your school ask your current teacher if you can be of assistance? You can probably also mention any field trips or exhibitions you've been too. Is there a geography club at your school you can join?

Your extra curricular activities don't have to be specifically related to your subject unless you are applying to oxbridge or some Russell groups uni. Most unis want to get a feel for you as a well rounded individual. So you can easily mention any sports, languages volunteering etc you have done.

One thing I do have to say though is don't worry about extra curricular stuff it should only be about 11lines at the end of your personal statement. And anyway when you are looking to cut out stuff to fit the character limit you are likely to take out a lot of it anyway. Also get your teachers to put any extra curriculars you didn't include on your reference
Maybe do some research on geography related things, watch a couple documentaries and write about it?
I applied for psychology and had no extra curricular. Instead I read psychology books and did free courses on websites like https://www.edx.org and http://www.open.edu/openlearn/ and just wrote about that!
