I don’t know how other people think of me but I think I am handsome, is everyone think that they are handsome even when they are ugly?

Studies show that people overestimate their aptitude for everything. 90% believe they are in the top 10% or so.

Probably the same for perception of their own beauty.
Either way not much I can do about it

Women wear make-up and try to peacock to attract suitors. Men are those suitors who impress in other ways: ability to provide, ability to rip the heads off intruders, confidence. It is a rather modern sensation that men should oil their bodies up and post "adore me" pics on IG; that is normally female territory. The young men who do this will reform before long.
