What are the limitations of the biological approach being reductionist.
Hi,
If you look at the limitations of reductionism, the same arguments can be applied to the limitations of the biological approach being reductionist.

Strengths:
- Is good at explaining attachment: Needed for survival - supports Bowlby's monotropic theory (!!!! specifically evolution) and Lorenz

Limitations:
- It's deterministic as it suggests that biology is the full explanation and there is no consideration of environmental factors = incomplete explanation
- Cannot account for MZ twin studies: never 100% shared characteristic so there must be another factor and it doesn't account for that.
