How to cheer my class teacher up by text

My teacher experienced some bad news yesterday and she didn’t get to school yesterday,today she looked very sad and cried before,all of our class worried her,so I want to cheer her up but texting her in WhatsApp,what do I write?

It's weird you have your teacher's number, but tbh you don't know what happened and as such you don't want to send a message which makes the situation worse somehow.
I'd leave it. It's her private life
If you want to do something, maybe as a class give her a bunch of flowers

has this spot on. It's a lovely idea but you don't know why she was upset, and it might be insensitive to send a rather breezy message via WhatsApp, even though you mean it in the nicest way. But it's a lovely thought, nonetheless :smile:
It's a nice thought but I wouldn't. It would overstep the boundaries between a student and teacher.
