So, I still haven't written my first draft... HELP

So, I am not going to blame anyone for it because lmao I kinda died under the stress of revising for *****y October mocks and gave up on writing my first draft. I want to study Psychology but I have no clue on how to or even where to start with. I haven't read any books either... I am in need of help.

I've applied for Psychology as well (sent my application off nearly a month ago) so I can offer some advise. Talk about why you want to study the subject, what areas of psychology you like, if you have any favourite approaches etc. What A-Levels do you do, how do the skills from your subjects prepare you for the course? Have you done any work experience, volunteering or other extra-curricular activities and if so how have they prepared you for undergraduate study (team work, time management etc.) Hope this helps for writing a first draft.

Thank you sooo much this actually gave me an idea of what I should include, and it's great that you've sent your application early. Have you gotten any offers?

I've heard back from 3 of my choices so far. Glad I could help, feel free to send me a message if I can help in the future. Where are you thinking of applying?
I am also applying for Psychology - do everything T.J.A said, plus your future ambitions at the end if you know what you want to do!

Thanks! I have had 2 offers so far.

Do you know what you want to do with your psychology degree? Are there any areas you want to specialise in?

Yeah, it does feel like it goes quick. Though you have quite a lot of time (just under 2 months) so I wouldn't worry. Good luck

I'm planning to do a Masters or PhD in Forensic Psychology, so my options are:

Exeter - Psychology
Nottingham - Psychology
Southampton - Psychology with Criminology
Royal Holloway - Psychology with Criminology (conditional offer)
Portsmouth - Forensic Psychology (conditional offer)

I'm predicted A*AB, I chose these unis over a few higher ones because the courses appealed to me.

Fair, I've applied to Exeter as well, are you applying for their normal 3 year course?

Yeah, their applied course is no longer BPS accredited so it wouldn't allow me to do a masters.

Fair enough, well good luck with your application.
It’s fine. Just start now by doing a template or bullet points of what u want to add. Just start somewhere. Doesn’t have to be perfect first try. Leave blanks. Thesaurus becomes your best friend. I did my medicine personal statement in less than a month last year and it turned out ok
