I started a application to join the Army back in January. all went well until I received a letter from the Army Recruitment saying I unsuccessful as I had F8 ( medically unfit ) due to an allergy reaction Urticaria rash back in 2016. I was gutted. But I appealed I called the drs got bloods taken, I took all the steps the Army needed ( the letter stated that they would only accept bsaci supported hospitals) I phoned around and found the nearest to me was Manchester. I live in Cheshire, I had to wait 4 weeks for an appt letter, which was in July 😩 but in September I got a letter confirming all that I needed to hear that I do not have any allergies and what is on my drs file doesn’t match with what has been reported, so I wrote a letter and explained all, copied all my results and letters to the medical appeal team and waited. Finally after 7 months of waiting and stressing I got the call yesterday to say that I had won my appeal. Maybe you need to go to a specialist of the area they have concerns over and get them to give you the ok via paper work!! Hope this helps and good luck x
