How are questions formed in A Level study subjects and how do I answer them? 🤔

I do Art, Media Studies, and Film Studies but this answer is only based on my media and film subjects. (1st year)

How do I answer the questions in the exams; how are they formed?

I know that it might ask “How far does ____”, but that’s all I know and I don’t really understand what it means, or how to answer the question clearly.

Go to the exam board and look up your A level spec. That will explain where the marks are given and what for.
Look at the exam papers to see how questions are set out.
Look at the mark schemes to show what the answer and where the marks were.
