Not an English Literature expert myself but try watching Mr Bruff on YouTube as he is an excellent English teacher who makes great revision videos. Stacey Reay is also good as well. Hope this helps. :smile:

We watch him sometimes in lessons after we get our ideas/analysis down & have watched Stacey too but it's ,for me , about how to write a thoughtful, developed response is where I struggle with

I like to split a poem into 3 sections - Language, Structure & Form and Context.

Then in a book I like to write down the Poem I'm analysing and what about it I'm analysing e.g. My Last Duchess - Context

Underneath I'll choose around 4 quotes and annotate them. I usually get annotation ideas from Genius (really underrated!) and Mr Bruff (although I think he's more overrated). I always keep in mind what poem this I would compare this to in an exam (in this case Ozymandias) and I'll always try to link my annotations to what Ozymandias also shows, in this case talking about how Power is shown throughout the poem.

I'll then do another on Form & Structure and then Context.

Finally I'll make a page in my book talking about how quotes can directly link and how to compare them, just general ideas really. I find this very effective.

Also, I'd recommend to learn Poetic literary devices, which I didn't (and flopped Section C of English Lit Paper 2 in the Mocks) as it will help you a lot when analysing other poems or unseen ones.
