And to answer the question
I love sprouts. But only if they are boiled to oblivion. The mushier the better. Can’t stand them if they’re slightly crisp
And as leftovers, Chuck them in a frying pan with a bit of butter and pieces of bacon. Then mix with leftover mash and shape into cakes. Fry in a little butter til brown and cover with gravy. Yum!!

the bacon thing. is like. once a year for christmas
not every time for me. it stems from my german family and doing german christmas meal on christmas eve. And there was a dish which had bacon and green veg. idk what. we will have to wait till the 24th to see what my aunt rustles up

They don't taste good though.. but they taste of christmas, which is mainly why I like them.
Back when I lived in the UK me, my mum and my grandpa would all grow them throughout the year, and then see who had the best ones at christmas.
