Withdrawing consent mid-sex, is it rape

Is it rape if I withdraw consent mid-sex? If I actually ask /them/ to stop, and they go on? Even harder actually? I agreed to have sex, I had fun at first. But then, I sobered up. And I didn't want to go on. i said stop, /they/ continued even harder. I don't know if me begging for them to wait, to stop, was a turn-on but..I don't know. Is it rape? Or am I just being extra? Because I felt gross afterwards, I felt disgusted with myself and /them/.

Yes, that is rape.
Yes, if you asked them to stop, and they ignored you and kept going anyway, it's rape, no two ways about it.

you make a good point,.........

"technically" there's a lot of porn scences which if they happened IRL would be classed as rape

Could have misconstrued if it was a bit of role play

It wasn’t tho
Porn isn’t realistic though. It’s mostly fantasy. So comparing my experience to porn is just???¿ I’m not living in a porn movie.
Consent is a continuous thing. You can consent at the beginning of sex, but withdraw it if you become uncomfortable etc. If you make it clear to the other person that you are no longer consenting and they continue, then yes, that is definitely rape.

There's a difference in tone between "role-playing" stop and genuinely wanting them to stop, as others have suggested there being some confusion. You'd have to be pretty emotionally clueless to not be able to distinguish between the two.

No, because those who take part in the pornographic industry are all consenting adults, who are being paid. Not even comparable.

Yes, if you withdrew consent at any point, then that is rape.

Well obviously as you are asking the question.

I just mean your partner could have thought that.

Very true, I find young people’s ideas on sex to be quite sad as a result of porn exposure at a young age.
So you want 'them' to get arrested or what

Did she mention getting them arrested?

Of course. If you've decided you have had enough and they decide to keep on going, they're doing it against your will. No matter how "bad I want it", if a woman says to me she wants to stop, I'm pulling out straight away.

Aww you don’t think rapists should be arrested sweetheart?

Then wtf is the point of this
If it's rape get him arrested, if you don't want him to get arrested why bother with accusing him of rape

Says the guy who justified a man raping a woman by explaining that he may have felt her protests were role play...

Perhaps she just wanted it clarified whether it was rape or not.
