access to nursing and midwifery

I start and access to nursing and midwifery course in September, im really excited to begin and new career and would like to be prepared before I start the course. can anybody recommend any resources/book?

What subjects will you be doing? I did sociology, Psychology and biology. For Psychology i would really recommend The Science of Mind and Behaviour by Richard Gross it's filled with everything you will need for the year. Also for sociology go for Haralambos and Holborn - Sociology Themes and Perspectives 8th ed. Good luck!
