Do girls generally dislike introverted/quiet guys?

I expect they do, but I'd like some opinions. Also not really sure how such a guy would not end up forever alone because if you aren't very sociable with girls then you'll never get into a relationship.

No!! I prefer people that are quieter! I'm quiet and I've managed to get a boyfriend lol, you just have to find an understanding person! Quiet people are the best c:

As a quiet, quite nerdy guy, i would say that it doesnt benefit me when trying to talk to girls
They only care for those who give them attention or they develop an interest in, usually out of curiosity as to why they behave the way they do or live the life that they do.

But if you prefer people who are quieter it makes no sense how you managed to get a boyfriend? How did you even talk to each other if you're both quiet??? (Beyond basic small talk that amounts to nothing of course) This is what I don't understand. As a very quiet/introverted guy I would only be interested in girls who are like that too, so I concluded that I should expect to be forever alone.

Exactly, and only very sociable people are capable of doing that. I guess hermits are f***ed.
Anyone that says no is lying, if you’re a quiet nerd with no confidence you’ll have to settle for a 5/10 simple

Because my boyfriend was very understanding of me being so quiet and took the time to be patient until I was able to be myself! You won't be forever alone. You just have to wait until you find someone who suits your personality and understands that you're quiet. Trust me, I know how you feel!! I guess I'm just lucky with actually finding someone who understands because most people are idiots and don't take the time to understand some people are quieter and need time to be themselves around you.
Not so shy that I would have to make all the effort and initiation but arrogance is a bigg turnoff for me, I feel more comfortable around more humble / quietly confident guys but not someone painfully shy

How dare you. Just because someone's quiet doesn't mean they have to 'settle. It's people like you that cause quiet people to be insecure.
No, I love quiet guys.
Particularly if they enjoy reading and have canine friends.

Sounds like a very sociable and outgoing guy though. What I'm concerned about the case when both parties are very quiet (i.e. someone looking for someone like them, not the polar opposite) and then there's no hope.

Yeah this is what I imagined, if you're quiet then you at least need to be confident and able to socialise well if necessary. No social ability is a no-go. I've got to say I wanted to get some hope from this but reality is harsh.
I actually like quiet guys more than loud ones.
Seeing a guy be by himself quietly just makes me want to go up to him and become friends.

Somewhat reassuring
No, he's not outgoing and very sociable. But yeah, he was the one making most of the conversation at first, but that's what I'm saying. You will find someone who understands you're quieter and someone that likes that. There are people out there! It makes me so annoyed you basically think you're not good enough just cause you're quiet.

It’s just being realistic, most girls wouldn’t even give the time of day to a guy that looks down to his feet around girls and isn’t confident to tease and flirt with them. If you are scared to talk to a girl you need to grow up and get some balls
Know you mean romantically so i cant really answer on that front but personally i love quiet guys as friends, in fact they are the only guy friends i will have.
Coming from an abusive household where i am used to loud rambunctious shouty men, quiet sensitive men are a breath of fresh air

Do you pre-judge men that aren’t quiet just because of your upbringing? Thats a bit unfair don’t you think
