I'm a Tory AMA

I've always wanted to do one of these for the banter, so I picked something about myself that may be controversial on this forum.

Feel free to ask about the title or anything else, I do however reserve the right to respond with sarcastic or joke-y answers.

Because I like the thought of crushing the poor under my boot. : ) Erm, I mean Labour mismanages the economy with style... Huehuehue lets sell all of our gold reserves.... next day gold prices go through the roof. Banta.

In a lot of cases, yes. (as there is with any political party support base). <- Momentum supporters like damaging property and Corbyn supporters don't want to pay for uni and claim something about how poor people can't go to uni as if student loans don't exist. : )

The Tories haven’t been great with the economy and a whole raft of other issues either- eg Black Wednesday and we’re big cheerleaders of labours policies under Blair which helped spur on the global economic crisis. also if you only care about economic matters when/ if we leave the EU that will also inevitably damage us economically. Labour policy is only cosmetically different to the Tories and most of them believe in the exact same crazy social policies and mass immigration as labour does.

The tory Party is basically a slightly less anti white, pro war, Labour Party that offers socialism to the rich instead of the deserving poor - people like army vets who have been left to die on the street thanks to the whims of people like Michael Gove.,

With regards to Black Wednesday lets not forget that it was pushed through by Major & not the PM at the time who warned against it - ofc tories may also be idiots : ).

Which leads nicely on to your 2nd point - Cameron had that dumb idea of letting the masses vote on Gov policy lol, many in the party didn't like the result - however the idea that we should hold referendums till Gov gets the vote it likes is tyrannical (although I'm not 100% against that 0.o (secretly I'm just an autocrat)).

Oh and what exactly is Labour policy on that matter? Because I'm sure it changes with the wind.

I'm not sure bombing a few targets in Syria along with half the western world is really that pro-war. But eh, why don't we just throw away all our weapons like Corbyn wants? top kek.

As for the whole socialism to the rich as opposed to the poor. Tories wanted to make more wealthy people (an estate worth at least £100k) pay for their own social care after they were dead - but labour shot it down as stealing from the poor that could then no longer pass the money down to their kids lol. <- Poor people don't own their own home. If they do, they could sell it and no longer be poor. : /

But I digress, there wasn't a Q there.

Good questions, my family have always been Labour and although my grandmother kind of supports tories - it is always the wrong characters (Borris/his dim brother (mostly Borris)).

That being said I don't think I was inspired to become a tory, I just remember seeing the alternatives as worse. Also the fundamental idea of a small of a Gov as possible that in most cases doesn't interfere with peoples lives is appealing - obviously not in every case, the NHS is a good example of something we should be paying into - if only we had listened to that health secretary that wanted doctors to work on the weekends as if people only get ill on weekdays. : /

Not sure I really have a favourite policy, it is always about the sum of policies I suppose, I could probably compromise on any one given policy.

How many of my friends are tories? Definitely one, possibly two. The vast majority are Labour supporters. (yikes!)

Q1: what is your least favourite Tory Policy?
Q2: what do you think about Trump?
Q3: who should be the next Tory leader and why?

Doctors obviously do work on weekends. Do you think if you have a heart attack on a Saturday afternoon they'll tell you to come back Monday?
Grave digging bcos it's my thread and I can. : )

Banter, on a serious note a peoples vote doesn't sound very democratic when over 50% of the electorate voted to leave. Which isn't to say I wouldn't vote to stay in if it became a thing (which it is looking like may happen).

I didn't say you were, but why compare Tory policy to any other group when Labour is the only real competition. Unless you count that independent group that left Labour bcos antisemitism and then talked about people of a "funny tinge". Absolute top quality stuff. You couldn't make it up.

Q1. Not sure, there are certainly some bad ones out there though.
Q2. Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that a majority voted for Clinton and he still runs the place. Sounds like a banana republic over there to me lawl.
Q3. Obvs it should be me. Bocs I would make a great dictat*cough* Prime minister.

Sure the emerg med department will be running. But you clearly haven't sat on ICU over night/weekend whilst watching a family member pull out their breathing tubes (under sedation) and the only member of staff being the hospital chaplain, telling you that it is okay for them to do that. : / In a Kings College trust hospital as well, so it isn't like it was some piece of shite hospital either.

Why do you hate freedom, puppies, gay people and minorities?

(And Poe's law rears its ugly head.)
