What have you studied so far? How are you revising?

I'm currently in Y12, but we've completed all of Module 2 except Cell Division, Cell Diversity and Cellular Organisation and all of Module 3 except Transport in Plants. We've also completed the relavent PAGs in those Modules

What about you?

I kinda make large A4 flashcards & just revise from that, often out loud lol. But also practise questions etc

so do you memorise the methods and other details like risk assessments and stuff? what are the things you need and don't need?
thanks x
@lionike123

Hey this looks like an amazing exam thread!

Usually we find that it is easier the closer you get to exams to have the exams threads split out by paper. If you want to make the three split out threads we can get them promoted for you, get them busy and get everyone helping each other out for the next few months!

Let me know

EH

I’ve got no topics left to cover, I just need to do all of the past papers.
The hardest topic would have to be 6.3 - Manipulating genomes.

I try using the OCR PAG sheets for practicals, but often my teachers condense it into readable notes (this is for OCR A Chemistry though)
Other than that, i'm not really sure.

Physics and Maths Tutor are supposed to be good at those kinda notes.

Has anyone done the 2018 papers as mocks?

Yes I did the biological processes 2018 paper as a mock. It had lots of application questions!
Can someone quickly summarise DNA sequencing and genetic engineering? Please.

Things that didn’t come up last year in paper 1. Is this a good approach? I am so scared for Biology.
Biotechnology, classification, biodiversity, population, and sustainability are the most pointless chapters in biology. Why do i need to know how to make bread, cheese, yoghurt,
