Interesting legal scenario

This is purely hypothetical but I'm curious as to what the legal judgement would be if the following happened:

A man has sex with a 16 year old girl but video tapes it to protect himself from legal ramification just in case. If the girl then suddenly cried rape, showing the video in defence of rape would essentially be confessing to child pornography, but would clear the man of rape. Would the man be innocent of all charges if he showed the video or innocent of rape and guilty of possessing indecent images of a child?

Would the judgement be any different if the act was only voice recorded and if the man believed the girl to be 18.

Again, just curious
Even if they believe they are 18, if they aren't actually the prosecution method is the same. It sort of depends on why he thinks she is 18- was it presumed? was he told? did she show proof?
I would have thought the guy would've been cleared of the rape charged, but still charged on the indecent images of the child.
If the bloke filmed it and at the time believed the girl was 18 I think it would have been fine.

I'm not sure what the law says about covert recording of sex acts in general, I feel like that shouldn't be ok?
Is this about you anon ?
Have you do this ?
UK law sucks
You will still get into trouble no matter what...

You can’t even defend your self in this country.
I got mugged outside on the street and a broken nose. However i hit the other person back in self defence and i got a night in a cell while he got away “Because it wasn’t justified as I could have called for help or run away”

I had a similar situation, on a night out a guy attacked me three times and I just left, the fourth time I though well no one is gonna help. There was no sign of police and he obviously wasn’t going to let his beef go so I hit him back he got a night in the cells I ended up with a tag for six months and a conditional sentence. They said the same you could have left even though I explained I was trying to and was actually on my way home.

As having sex with a 16 year old girl isn’t illegal video taping it as reassurance against future rape allegations would simply be silly.

Why would you break the law to cover yourself from being accused of breaking the law when you haven’t actually done so?

plus the I thought she was 18 line won’t work now as you have basically confessed on TSR to knowing she wasn’t 18. Yes the police do contact your ISP in cases like this to obtain records of your internet usage. You know just in case you happen to be a browser of jailbait.

They like to dig around, in the hopes of finding other offences that they believe to a high probability you may have engaged in. Just to add further charges and strengthen the case in court.

I didn’t get a solicitor, they all advised just admitting to fighting and it seemed prosecutor really wanted me to go down. She just kept saying you could have walked away, I explained that I couldn’t as I was basically being followed home so I decided to defend myself. She made out that was predetermination and the magistrates just did as she said. Was totally bogus.

Wrong, I got denied a Lawyer when this happened to me.
Its been in news multiple times - one last week was “92 Arrested for protecting himself” This is where a group of men stormed in his house to rob him at gun point (Yes the UK) then he stabbed one of them and he was the one who got done. He received 8 Years for murder. A national wide petition demanded him to be let free

Yeah I heard that
- You can’t defend your self within the UK or you will be the criminal.
I think a more proper reply would be that it's hard to defend yourself without proper legal representation.......
