I have a test tomorrow and one of the topics is Venn diagrams. However, I understand almost everything apart from subsets. Can anyone explain subsets to me, please?
Thank you

Hope your test went well! Would you still like subsets explained to you?

Well done
A subset is a group of numbers which are all within another set. For example a subset of the set odd numbers could be (1,3,5,7,9) but couldn't be (1,2,3,5,7,9) since 2 is not in the set odd numbers.
so if you have a two circle with overlap Venn diagram then the bit in the middle (in set A and B) is a subset of both set A and set B.
Does that make sense?
