Leaving uni to go back to college?
(sorry if this isn't posted in the right place or if it just me rambling) I have struggled with uni for a long time, anxiety, lack of social life and trying hard but not getting the grades I'd like. This has cause me to lose all passion for my desired subject.
Im in my second year but re did my first year due to bad mental health, so it's been 3 years. I want a change in career path, this isn't what I enjoy anymore or what I see a future in.
So my main question is, is it possible to leave and go to college to persue something else? Most people have said I should stick with it to get my degree cause I only have a year left but I'm just very unhappy with it all and I just don't feel like my tutors have supported me even though my situation is known.

,I would firstly like to recommend that you see if there is someone at the university that you can speak to about your options/plans. Most universities will offer fantastic support services for students and will not be bias in terms of wanting you to stay at the university without thought for your opinions. Your mental health and well-being is by far the most important aspect here, so ensuring you do something that makes you happy is the most important focus.
If you are considering a change of career and thinking of going through the university again, as you have mentioned that you have studied for three years, it may very well be the case you will only get Student Finance funding for one year. This means you may have to self-fund two years of a undergraduate course. I would suggest speaking to Student Finance directly to find out and confirm your entitlement.
I would also suggest speaking to the careers team at your university as these may be able to advise on your new chosen career path or what your best options may be.

I would say finish the degree! Once you finish you will be able to get a job in many more fields than what you are specialising in rather than taking a step back and going to college <3
a big factor in your decision would be funding, i dont know the details but i dont know if you would be able to get funding for all of your degree a second time round, so think about that! But obviously follow what makes you happy, listen to your heart because if your questioning things now, that isnt going to change!

Cash your credits with the Open University in an Open Degree. You can tailor the modules for whatever you're interested in. Please check it out and ring the Open University. Best of luck with your future.
