Best unis for psychology that also have a good nightlife and sports facilities???

Hi I'm going to be applying for unis this year and I was wondering what people's experiences of Psychology courses were? I'm pretty academic so I want to go to a good uni with an interesting course and preferably a year abroad/placement but also somewhere that's quite social and has good clubs/bars because St Andrews and places like that look great but a bit dead. Also with gyms/swimming pools?? Thanks xxx

No, my son went there and we found out through him about the great sporting facilities at Birmingham, including gym and swimming pool. Birmingham's a huge city so also has lots of bars, clubs etc
