How do you find maths easy? Show me techniques I need to improve?


Honestly don’t really revise it I suppose it’s a kind of natural thing. When I do revise it tho I do practice papers. That way you build up a sort of mental database of things of the types of questions they could ask and how to answer them.
I did my GCSEs last year. IMO:

Easiest:

Geography (seriously easy)
English Language (virtually no "content" at all)
Chemistry
Biology
Physics
Maths
French
English Lit
History
Photography (unbelievably time consuming, my worst GCSE grade)
Further Maths

Hardest

I still managed to **** up my Chemistry and Maths exams, however!

Interesting to see that you ranked eng lit as the hardest. I never liked it, but I found some of the science subjects harder to understand, whereas eng lit was just a case of knowing what and how to write. I wrote an article about why I think it shouldn't be compulsory in as many schools as it is, would you agree?

Well I took English Lit a year early so that would’ve made it slightly harder for me however I have always found science subjects come a lot easier to me. I still managed to get an A in English lit but found I was never quite good enough to get an A* due to the fact I had the right ideas and read into the meaning of the text etc. But never quite wrote it as eloquently as other students who did get A*

Nobody mentions Italian GCSE. Isn't anybody doing it on here. I'm hopeless with Listening Comprehension.

Jk, which one is lit and which one is lang?
smh...art is the hardest by far
just on the fact there is no written 'exam' and is super super, if not entirely subjective to the person marking your work. one teacher could call it a 9, the other teacher could call it a 4. biggest regret taking art gcse, complete waste of time

oh eng lang is the easiest, as long as you understand how to answer the questions its actual bs writing

To me Maths doesn’t come naturally so even if I revise so many hours I’ll still do bad in an exam! But Ik that the Mocks are more harder than the actual exam! I need to really improve in maths at least a 6! I’ve used maths genie, hergarty maths and lots of YouTube vids but they’re still not helping!
