This is a really great question, we completely appreciate how it might impact on you if your parents knew how you felt - what makes you think they wouldn't understand?

It is hard for anyone in this forum to answer this directly because all schools are governed by different policies and procedures around what information they share and who they share it with. It is something you would have to try and find out from the school directly about confidentiality.

Thanks.
I go to Secondary school. Do u think I should talk to my teacher?

Yes, please ASAP! But I think first, you should tell who you trust the most, who are you closest to - a best friend, sibling, parent?
Opening up to the person you trust the most will probably be the best option since they will be able to support you and give you the best solutions possible.
However, I am concerned with what you expressed in your first post about getting thoughts that could risk your life, I'm assuming you are talking about suicidal thoughts or self-harm?
Please tell an adult about this, whether it is your parents/guardian or a teacher at school, the adult will then refer you to speak to a specialist on mental health who will help guide you to reduce these thoughts and hopefully stop them.
I hope everything goes okay, please know that whilst those thoughts are not healthy, they are not uncommon either so don't feel that you're "weird" or that there's something wrong with you. This is coming from someone who was in a similar situation too.
Stay safe 💗

Heyy,
Got some GOOD NEWS for you.
I told him everything. Literally went all out and told him. I also told him about my situation at home because he asked whether anything was going on at home and i didn't answer so he knew that there was and he literally as well as another teacher forced me into telling them. They told me that they won't tell my parents and i have been referred to a counselor who is going to help me with my situation.
It was hard but i managed to tell. I missed my last two lessons due to this.
Thank you. If I never met you I probably would be here still suffering in silence.
WOW @#love2learn and @JonjoCracken this looks like a great example of you working together in order to help find your voice, really well done both. It takes a huge amount of courage to speak up so here is hoping you get the right kind of support from your counsellor.

Best Wishes!!
