LCC Contemporary Media Cultures

Anyone here got an offer at LCC (London college of communication) Contemporary Media Cultures?

I got a condition offer a week after I applied.

Just wondering if anyone could mention there reply for the course? Or even how the course is if you study it

I suggest you take a look at the course content and compare it to any other universities you've applied to.

Well if you decide to go to LCC then I will see you there. Good luck with whatever your choice will be!
I've received an offer for Contemporary Media Cultures as well just not sure if I should accept or not yet!

All depends what you’re looking for. Personally, I accepted the course as it ranges in various pathways which you can go. Unlike other courses where you are restricted to one thing only throughout the 3 years. So you could enter the course with one skill set and come out with many different skills to allow you to enter new jobs.

I’ve just been to what they call an ‘offers day’ and it made me very confident that this course is for me. When you get an invite for one, definitely go down as it makes you understand the course more.
Exactly what you said is why Ive applied to do media and cultural studies for all my uni choices. I'd love to gain a range of skill sets I'm just not sure if I should go to LCC to do it.
And same I went to an offers day yesterday and I really liked it but still a bit on edge, I don't know if I should just take the step and confirm my choice.
where else did you apply

You have plenty of time to accept any offers. If you’re unsure give it some time and then decide. It was my first choice so that’s why I accepted it.

If you have an offer then the place is yours, so there isn’t any rush
Very true, I feel a little bit worried because Id love to stay at Highline accommodation because its so close to LCC otherwise id most likely just study from home (since I'm from London)

That makes sense. I’m not from London, I’m far from it. But I also would want to stay in highline building as like you said it’s so close and it would hopefully be full of LCC students which I can share my passion for media. I wouldn’t mind where I stay really as long as it’s not too far. I just don’t know how likely an LCC student would be to stay in highline building since it’s so close, it would make sense for most LCC students to be accepted there though.
Was you the guy that came from a small town? I think I remember you!

Ahh yeah I remember you! Small world ain’t it😂 If you don’t mind me asking, since I’m not from London. Does LCC have a good reputation? Personally no one has ever heard of it where I’m from. It’s hard to kinda know what to expect after going there twice
It Is! Ooo I see, I’d say people wouldn’t have heard of it directly but they’ve heard of UAL so it’s the same thing but not many people unless you are into media arts etc would directly know about UAL. LCC is a good specialist uni of Media and such so I think you’re making a very good choice if you want to peruse carriers in media in the future

Well that’s sounds like good news. My college is linked with UAL so that’s how I found out about it. The main uni’s people mention in UAL is CSM or LCF. Even my tutor at college said he hasn’t had anyone enter LCC. So it was kind of a rough judgment to apply but I’m happy with my choice.
That’s what I always think I always hear about LCF but I guess LCC is just smaller and less out there. I think it will be worth it for yourself
