Chemistry doubt- any help will be appreciated

Do hydrocarbons with amine groups react with aqueous dilute HCl? My teacher says that they only react with concentrated HCl-but I;m still not so sure tbh.
Thanks!

How can it be a hydrocarbon and also contain N?

Amines WILL react with dilute HCl, (non aromatic) amines are, in fact, stronger bases than ammonia. Since ammonia will happily react with dilute HCl, amines will do so, too.

Suggest your teacher reads this: https://www.chemguide.co.uk/basicorg/acidbase/bases.html
