It has already been reported that it is likely due to the renovation work that has been taking place on the Notre Dame. Anyone who uses this to push their political agendas absolutely disgusts me. You don't have to be Christian or French to appreciate the beauty that has been lost today. It's a loss to humanity as a whole. All these ***** using this to push their agendas sicken me. The world is already grieving we don't need people to try and divide us even more.
Haven't really seen many people using it to push an agenda. Pretty sure it's widely accepted that renovations were the likeliest cause.

Absolutely tragic. A real jewel of gothic architecture. Its stunning stained glass windows have been lost as well as the timber roof which was built by craftsmen from 15,000 oak trees. Henry VI of England was also a Plantagenet king to have been crowned king of France there in 1431. I’m a lover of all things medieval so this hasn’t been great news.

It's indoctrinated nonsense. It makes no sense to torture your son / yourself to death to be able to forgive. I'd really like to hear, and try to understand, how this makes sense to you.
I do respect people's right to believe what they want to. That is different from respecting a belief, especially when it's illogical nonsense.
