Says who? Says me, judging by the fact that sexual relationships have not only not decreased in quality and openness, but actually greatly increased since the inception of internet porn. That's a generalisation saying relationships are not impacted by porn and that porn won't come up in a search engine image search.

Its an interesting topic and looking at the outcry I question how much of this is due to dependence.

I think that most kids are finding porn by typing sex into google image search and results returned are an infinite and unrestricted amount of hardcore porn with links available. Majority of adults would agree it shouldn't be that easy. Typing sex into google doesn't mean you could also understand how getting around blocks work.

Google needs to sort itself out.

A couple of weeks ago I typed "porn" into google images and 1 or 2 of the results were off.

After I scrolled down a lot there was a deeply disturbing image of a toddler and a fully grown man and let's just say unfortunately I don't think i'll ever forget that image.

I don't know if google has removed the offending image but that isn't the first time google images has returned bogus stuff when i've searched for legitimate porn because I've been shown animal porn before as well.

Idk why they even bothered. Tumblr porn was fairly harmless, you'd only find mad stuff on there if you really went looking.

I've just noticed a fun thing just now on my chrome where the type of results I get for words like 'sex' and 'porn' change completely depending on whether I use an incognito tab or not. In incognito tabs I get far more raunchy stuff right away.
Woah, I am very shocked that an image like that would be visible on Google. That is absolutely disgusting. Obviously any images or websites depicting child porn (especially with TODDLERS) should be removed and the people behind it tracked down and arrested. Unfortunately the police these days are underfunded and care more about hate speech on the internet than cracking down on paedophilia.

No, but we have openly discussed porn habits in the past and I don't believe they were lying to me.

And of course it's a generalisation; generally speaking it doesn't. You're going to have a few cases of weirdos here and there but those are the minority. It's the same as how a minority of people (about 1 in 10) who try cannabis get addicted to it doesn't make weed a horribly addictive substance that will ruin your life if you touch it.

I don't get people who say 'well because you oppose it you must be hiding something/have a problem'. Perhaps you just don't agree with it and even as an adult, feel that your privacy is being invaded by having to hand over identification to this 'trusted third party'? If someone said they wanted to go through your phone, and you rightfully wasn't okay with it, would 'you must be hiding something then' be a valid thing for me to say?

But like people said there is a lack of research on porn addiction so its difficult to say firstly whether it is addictive and secondly how many are. Is it really possible to watch porn for years regularly and then 'quit' forever. But how do you know you're not addicted if you never tried to stopped watching it. If there are tens perhaps hundreds of millions of watchers worldwide surely 1 in 1000 or 1 in 100 who are addicted is an issue especially when the figures include children well under 18.

But the economic impact of Brexit is far higher, then the yellow vest movement could ever be/become.

Easier to manage and easier to stop.

There is absolutely no doubt about how harmful porn is, to society in general not just children. Numerous studies on it. But individuals all think "I am fine, so what" and so no one wants to take action.
This has now been pushed back.

Disgraceful. Young people should have to do what I did. Shoplift a copy of Razzle from the newsagents while my mate acts as a decoy by buying a packet of Rolos.
