CAN You take food in

Just wondering a teacher mentioned it and said we needed to ask the exam officer who is nowhere to Be found so asking here
Into an exam? I severely doubt it.
I’m pretty sure you can, as long as the packaging is clear
clear water bottle with no labels only

no food
might get the munchies in the middle of english lit paper 2 you never know:colonhash:

It's up to the exam centre - most say only those with a medical need (e.g. diabetics) can take food in but anything that is taken in has to be free from packaging.

When I done my GCSEs (9 years ago) we were allowed to take food into longer exams but nothing too wild! A bag of haribo or something not a Nando’s half chicken!

Some exams do allow a packet of sweets.

Sadly a meat platter, cheese board or chocolate fountain would not be allowed.
