Have you taken a look at Europa?. We have 592 rooms on site and over 250 of them are 1st year LJMU students.
Our prices start at £126 per week on a 42 week contract and this is inclusive of all bills except laundry.
We have a minimum of 4 events each month to get you socialising with your nieghbours and to just have some fun .

There's absolutely loads of student accommodation in Liverpool so you have plenty of choice! To start off with it's a good idea to have a look at where your course is based and see what's close by. We're biased but we reckon Ablett House is the best We're opposite the John Moores library where you're probably going to have to spend a lot of time! And lots of John Moores students choose to stay with us because we're near the uni buildings as well as being just a ten minute walk from all the bars, clubs, shops and restaurants in town.

I don't have a budget. I'm doing accounting and finance so I believe my lectures will be in the business center. A library near by would be useful as it was a pain getting to a library for my A Levels . I'm a social person so good social life opportunities. Parking on site or a nearby place to park my car would also be extremely useful.

With you wanting parking, I'm only going to show you all of your options with parking onsite because there is no free nearby parking by any of the accommodations available unless you're out of the town city center (and then you wont be near a library/near lectures ect...). If you wanted your car and chose an option without a car park, you'd easily be looking at Minimum £4 a day and i only know of one car park that cheap and youd have to move your car onto a street road every night (free parking on roads at night but they charge a lot during the day) and everywhere else is much more expensive (approx £20 per day).

So, these options seem suitable for you based on what you have said: (All with parking)
1. Liberty Prospect Point. They have a common room. Room prices staring at £133.50 depending on what type of room you want to pick. All rooms are ensuite/studios (you wont share a bathroom) and you have a double bed.
2. Liberty Park. Room prices starting from £119 depending on what type of room you want to pick. All rooms are ensuite/studios (you wont share a bathroom) and you have a double bed.
3. Liberty Atlantic Point. Room prices starting from £115.50 depending on what type of room you want to pick. All rooms are ensuite/studios (you wont share a bathroom) and you have a double bed.
4. Myrtle Court. They have an en-suite room for £119. They have a single sized bed.
5. The Railyard. They have a bronze en-suite for £109. They have a single sized bed.
6. Albert Court. They have a gym and a swimming pool. They have a bronze en-suite for £124. They have a single sized bed.
7. Agnes Jones House. Their rooms are £101. They have a single sized bed and bathrooms are shared.
8. St. Andrews Garden. They have rooms starting from £103. All their bathroom facilities are shared. Their cheaper rooms have a single bed and their more expensive rooms have a small double bed.

If you want any more help/recommendations/advice ect.. just let me know, I'd be happy to answer any questions you'd have (including recommending which one I'd pick out of the 8 listed above)

Yeah all the single bed options are definitely off the cards as I'm very tall However the first three sound very promising. I'll check them out. Thanks a lot.

I'm very small and I also prefer a double bed, so I don't blame you at all haha

If I weren't to take my car and was just looking at it from a pure "student experience" standpoint, do you know what the most popular options tend to be?

There's quite a few, but I wouldn't pick one based on that myself personally because even if a place has a "reputation" of having a great "student experience" or whatever, in reality its just not true that the ones that don't, aren't just as sociable and offer just as great an experience.

These are the mains ones for such reputations though:
1. Liberty Atlantic Point (which I mentioned to you above out the the 8)
2. Grand Central
3. Europa (which does have a car park but you can only park there for up to 2 hours)

Grand Cental being the one with the biggest reputation

Yeah definitely, it's just don't want to end up somewhere really quiet and boring that's all. I've got one more question at this moment in time and that's if you think it'll be worth taking my car. I'm constantly out, whether its gym, socializing, boxing ect. However I've heard a lot of things are walking distance in Liverpool so just don't really want to have it sitting there depreciating haha

Depends what youd wanna do. Im very outgoing - i like doing things, visiting places and just going out and about and therefore for me personally, id 100% bring a car. Yes, lots of things are walking distance but theres so much the city has to offer that Isnt walking distance and lots of uni students miss out because theyll only go places they can walk to. You 100% dont need to have a car, you can live off the city centre but if youre like me, you wont want to, youll want to enjoy the whole city and therefore id bring it personally. Its great too when say you want to go to Manchester or anywhere else outside the city or local too. The only things "walking distance" is either in the city centre or just on the outskirts. Many things and places arent walking distance but like i say i guess it just depends on what youre personally interested in.
