i don’t think so.
How did you answer the projectile question?
how did you calculate the horizontal component?

there were 2 questions that were ‘show’ pretty straight forward. i think i used 1/2at^2 for the first part and got 27.6 m/s
Second part was v^2=u^2+2as and i forgot the value i got but around 2. smthn

What did you use for the value of S? in s=1/2at^2
well, i hope the boundary is 45-48 for A, cz then ill prolly get the grade
Guys, for the projectile question, the initial velocity was 3.16 right ?? not the components.

i calculated T from that then used the horizontal distance to find the velocity of the horizontal component
T from what ??

yeah😭
They always set higher boundaries for unit 2 than unit 1.

it was kinda difficult. I feel like Jan 2019 was easier. Do you think the same?

Yes true jan 2019 was 20 times easier

Yesss! the grade boundary for A was 52
So i hope this time its lower than that.
Yes truee

What answer did you get for workdone in maximum pull back distance

Horizontal distance=?

27.6 i think

it was in metres i think

The original length was 0.70 meters.

What I don't understand is this, how come our total length must be 1 mm but our original length is 0.70 meters???

I didn't try to do any cos/sin function with the rope length (I think weight has nothing to do with those functions) so my extension came out to be something like 1.46 * 10^-4 meter or 0.13 mm or something which I added up to my original length and said it was safe since I assumed I haven't crossed the 1 mm line. Idk but were you supposed to assume that 1mm is 1 meters or something??

Overall, this was a freaking hard exam imo. I think, I didn't answer like 4-5 sub-questions since I ran out of time. Really don't know why they are making the recent questions so much harder :frown:
