Porn is highly addictive for me (and lots of guys. My friends used to tell me they couldn't get hard erections anymore to 'normal' porn, so had to watch really extreme stuff.)

Define 'extreme' to me it sounds like some of your friends found fetishes that turned them on more than them not being interested in normal sex.
violence and abuse etc. Porn releases high dopamine into the brain with each use, which leads many guys like me to become addicted and need more extreme and stimulating content to achieve the same arousal.
Guys start off looking at bikini models then end up having to look at these crazy disgusting genres. I'm glad I never have to experience the disgusting realisation of what I just watched anymore

So, BDSM? A totally normal fetish. If they are looking at snuff films then that would be a problem.

I mean, you may not be into it, doesn't make it disgusting, it just makes it not your thing.
Good lad
You're missing the point a bit. Porn is inducing people with fetishes that they don't naturally desire. The desire for extremity in a brain that craves dopamine hits. I have no problem with someone carrying out their fetish in real life and enjoying it if they want to. But m friends literally said they felt disgusted after watching this stuff but nothing else turned them on.

It's the nature of an infinitely accessible drug which society views as a good thing ("oh watching porn is normal"). It's not.
Do you see animals looking at smartphones and masturbating? No they just ****

yes but it wasn't a conscious decision, i got bored with watching porn and steadily stopped watching it and now that i've realised i've stopped i try not to watch porn at all because, as you said, it's not good for your sexual health
