Further maths Edexcel stats and mechanics 1

Did stats and mechanics didn’t think it was too bad but last answer for stats I got r and q as rly weird fractions

i got 1/6 and 1/5 as my fractions and when i substituted it back in to check it came out right

For fm1 did u get Q3 as 6.46 or something like that

I got like 34/294 but when I checked it added up to 1 and the x^3 equation

oh idk then coz think it was 2q+r+2(7/30)=1 and 2/6+1/5+14/30=1

WD was 8/5mg and GPE was 24/5mg therefore change in KE was 16/5mg
1/2v² was equal to 16/5g + 1/2(5)²
therefore v was 9.4 2sf or 9.37 3sf
I think you forgot to multiply by a 1/2 before you square rooted to find v as that gives you 6.63 ...

i got 6.63 so if what ur saying is true i should only lose 1 or 2 marks max

yeah, i got 9.4 too, you'll probably only lose 1 if you're lucky

I’d say you’d lose two max cause you had an equation all in v you just forgot to multiple by 2 as it was 1/2 v² = .... not v² so definitely lose A1 mark but might have got the method mark for the right equation

mechanics:
1.a) cant remember but confident with answer
b) 10
2. e=7/18
b) something like 55mu^2/24
3)6.63
4) Wasnt too sure k>1/e
b) can't remember

Stats:
chose scheme A(0.10)
scheme b(0.06)
critical region was <0.0311 or something like that was 3 or less mistakes.
