Do you know how to find that out
You gotta ask people in year 12 now. I would if i could but i dont know anyone doing the AS Course this year for history. Ask people even if they're not really your friend trust me its worth it

I've messaged a kid in the year below to see if any of his mates take history, i'll post what came up if i get a response:smile:
Cool, trust me look back at the past papers and youll see correlations they never just bring up a topic once its always twice and stuff. Knowing what came up last week in the AS exam might just give us that advantage we need considering how much content there is and the level of detail we need.

I get the feeling a Republicanism in the 20s question will come up. I’m kinda hoping for that

AS questions were (according to my teacher)
Section A:
Women 1945-80
Was Vietnam the main cause for decline in confidence

Section B:
African American civil rights movement 1917-55
Changes to travel (I think)

Not sure about Reagan apparently it was pretty vague.

If I were to make predictions:
Chapter 1:
- Republicans in the 20s
- FDR's presidency
- Changing styles of the presidents
Chapter 2:
- Great Migration
- Success of civil rights/minority rights
Chapter 3:
- Pop culture (I think this is very very likely)
Chapter 4:
- Consumer society
- Maybe causes of the Wall Street Crash/GD
- 60s/70s economic situation and causes of economic decline
- Poverty

If popculture was to come up would that be the impact of Radio/Cinema/Music and then a later time period TV/Broadcast news/Non-Commercial TV

would civil rights come up again because theyve used it in nearly every paper already?

That's what I thought but then again our AS question was on minority rights so surely they wouldn't ask us a question involving knowledge from our AS exam last year. I just have no idea about section 2 tbh.

I think that something about media or in relation to presidents like power will come up. Potentially we could get women as well as that doesn’t seem to have appeared.

Civil rights is one of the key themes so I think it could come up - but I think if it did come up it would probably be in relation to minority civil rights campaigns as opposed to black civil rights campaigns.

I reckon it’ll be civil rights before 55
