GCSE Maths 2019 : Ask any question

As you revise GCSE maths over the next few weeks you can use this thread to ask any question about GCSE maths. This could be an exam question that you're struggling with or just a general question about the syllabus/exam. You could get an answer from a fellow students or one of the TSR maths helpers if they are free.

Alternatively you can create a new thread in the maths forum by clicking here.

I recommend using fractions to help you with this question. So first answer these questions:

What fraction of all the shapes are white?
What fraction of all the shapes are black?
What fraction of all the white shapes are circles?
What fraction of all the black shapes are circles?

Then can you continue from here?

If you're still stuck please post answers to the above questions and then I can help further.

I doubt that you'll be able to find a wjec predicted paper unfortunately :frown:

Paper 1 predicted papers can't really predict anything properly so it's not a big deal that you don't have one for your spec.
