was honestly a good paper. Edexcel will definelty raise the grade boundaries. What about you?

yeah same it was easier than the 2018 paper, paper 2 will most likely have way more calculations and titrations

Did anybody noticed there was a question error.
In the concentration calculation one.

It was given
MgCO3 + 2HCl + MgCl2 + H2O + CO2

It should be
MgCO3 + 2HCl 🔜 MgCl2 + H2O + CO2
hye guys were there any back titrations in the exam?? in general what topics did they focus on the most???
What topic practicals and maths came up in the test.

it should be
mgco3 + 2hcl 🔜 mgcl2 + h2o + co2
go thru the melting and boiling points across and down the grp cuz there was an mcq on it
electronegativity and polarisation came
pv=nrt calculations came. that was 6 marks. make sure you balance the equation because i got the molar ratio wrong.
properties of metals came. that was a 4 marker i think. (malleability and electrical conductivity and things like that)
