After 4 tries, I was able to figure out the problem. You had to take x common from the equation

Guys did anyone solved the Q2 that was find a and b which were given in powers of 2
It's an identity. 2 is the base.

Yeah but still when I pit the equations equal to each other a and b just canceled out???
Do you managed to solve where show that m verifies this inequality, it was something like
m^2+8m-63<0
2 to the power(2x+1) = 2 to the power (ax+b)
a =2 b=1
a =2 b=1

What do you think about grade boundaries for this exam?
m question is the determinant of the simultaneous equation of the line and curve smaller than 0. Rest is easy
