Which Uni course should I take if I want to go into a career in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning?

Some unis offer courses in AI/ML but I'm not sure whether it'd be a good idea to restrict my degree to one section of CS only. I am completely on the fence and am not sure which would be more beneficial in the long term.

There are some unis that also allow you to get a Masters in AI/ML after having completed a CS degree, which seems like a great route, too.

As I say, I'm having a hard time choosing, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Either straight Computer Science (+ optionally an MSc in AI/ML will help massively).

Or, Computer Science with a minor specialism in AI/ML, or an AI/ML course that still has focus on CS fundamentals (which most good unis will do anyway).

e.g. - All these look like good choices:

Okay, thanks a lot! Is there anything I should be doing before applying for uni? E.g. courses in programming.

I'll have a look at the courses you listed.

It's not going to be mandatory to have learned programming before starting uni since they nearly always teach everything from basic principles but it definitely helps give you an easier time when you're there, so you could check Harvard's CS50x intro course over the summer (probably one of the best free online CompSci courses you can find): https://online-learning.harvard.edu/...mputer-science
