Unshaven pubes? (Guys please)

How much do men care about pubic hair? I know many don't mind it, but for example i have quite a bit (i'm 21), i've trimmed it so it's not a huge tangled thing lol
But still it's like fuzzy and covering pretty much everything. Removing it is very painful for me, and i get razor irritation so can't shave. But there's a guy i like and i'm not sure if i should get intimate with him as i'm worried about being embarrassed if he's put off by it. He's 23, from my exp. many younger guys are not as open to pubes.
A couple of my friends have been humiliated by guys saying ew or laughing because they're not clean shaven..

Don't care about others, I think you should feel comfortable and be happy, everything will be fine. If someone really loves you, he/she does not humiliate you or try to change you 
It depends on the guy really. If you get into a committed relationship then you should go ahead and ask him.
18, personally I don't mind. But I'll be honest I know a decent number of people who would. I think it's from people watching too much porn and thinking clean is the normal. I think If he really minds to the point where he's mean about it, then he's not worth your time and you're lucky you found that out sooner rather than later.
There's a reason why pubic hair exists. Although I have heard that some girls shave down there because the hair irritates the "down there" bit

Yeah i'm the opposite, am sensitive down there so if the hair is gone i get irritation cause there's nothing to protect the opening as much

Actually he said he doesn't mind hair on girls, but i wonder if mine is 'too much', even in porn 'hairy' girls have a bit on top but the lips and back are all bare

I'll be honest, it puts me off. The more there is, the more it puts me off.
But mine is a broad dislike of body hair... I dislike it on myself as well, and shave down below regularly. So I'm perhaps not 'typical'.

If the guy says "ew" or laughs, then chuck him out. If the guy would rather you be in pain and uncomfortable than have some hair, send him packing as well. You are fine how you are and the right guy won't care about it one bit.
What about the lips/ area leading to the back, just trimmed as well?

I'm a girl. I just keep it trimmed v short and I've never had any complaints. Though I've had friends date guys who are turned off by it. IMO neatly trimmed is better than razor rash.

Ehhhhh. Usually trimmed. But every few weeks I'll clean shave it.
Girl here, I’ve kept mine trimmed to 5mm ish and at the back I use a bikini razor and it’s just super super short
Definitely shave regularly. They get smelly and trap in sweat. If you ejaculate and spunk into your pubes the smell lingers and it's disgusting. No hair and you can wipe the jizz straight off.

but how do you shave at the back?? i accidentally razor cut myself there once cause i can't see anything from any mirror. Luckily nothing gory

Back as in your arsecrack, gooch, or just the balls?
For the balls make sure the skin is super taut and go very slowly. Gooch and arsecrack should be fine for a traditional razer. If you don't feel comfortable just use an electric one - or hair remover cream!

Idk I’d like an answer to this too but I think it’s just a preference thing and every guy is different, but they should respect your choice. Also don’t shave for them as it obviously makes you uncomfortable and it’s your body not your partner’s.
Personally I shave mine sometimes, all the time around the pant line as mine is very unruly 🙄
But I trim it a lot as it’s easier to manage at the time of the month (and with other substances too I’d suspect 🤮)
